REP Badges

Well Done to all who received a REP badge today. Awesome to see so many Rm4 students showing REP in and out of the classroom. A further congratulations to Courtney and Katie who have worked hard and received all three badges.  Fabulous effort!

Athletics Champions!

Rm4 kept up their dominance this year with a 1st equal placing with Rm3 in our school athletics competition. Well done team!!

Capture the flag tournament

All yr7 classes participated in a Capture the flag tournament this morning,  with Rm4 choosing an army theme. They all played exceptionally well together and worked hard as a team to come in at 2nd equal with Rm11.

Last night or performance

Last night was the last night of our production, "Panic! Before the Disco." Rm4 produced five outstanding performances and showed off their hard work and newfound dance moves. We hope you enjoyed the show, we are already looking forward to next year!

Cultural Festival

Well Done to Mariyah and Kyla who were a part of the Casebrook Kapa Haka group that performed at the Cultural Festival on Friday night. A special mention to Mariyah who sung a beautiful solo during the performance. Skip to about 4mins in the video to catch them in action.

Bandquest

A huge congratulations to Althea who competed with the school band at Bandquest on Friday night. Althea was awarded "Best Keyboardist" out of all the bands competing which is a huge achievement!  Well Done Althea!

Rm4 practicing hard in performing arts today!

COLD Fuzzy Friday

Jack,  Jacob and Thomas surprised the class with ice blocks and sherbet for Warm Fuzzy Friday today. Nothing like celebrating the cold weather with a nice cold ice block! Thanks boys!

Paint brushes and baked potatoes

Popped into the tech rooms this morning to have a look at what our class has been up to. The art class has been busy creating Pasifika and Maori legend pieces while the cooking class across the way, were polishing off their baked potatoes.

Top yr7 class for Tech behaviour!

This morning in assembly, Rm4 were awarded the best behaved yr7 technology class for Term Two! Our prize is a free mufti day to be used sometime this term,  and one very impressed homeroom teacher! Great job team!

Meg and Shikayla's WFF

Meg and Shikayla started off Term Three's series of 'Warm Fuzzy Friday' with real gusto! The girls presented each member of the class with a class loom band bracelet, a delicious cupcake and piece of marble cake. Well done girls!!

Katie and Althea's WFF

"Rm4 you're so fun to be around.  You always make us smile with your laughter that fills the air. It's awesome how we always have each others backs and how we're always a team. It's nice to know someone will always be there for you when you need it and whenever we're out of hand, we've always got Meg and Mariyah to keep us in control. Whenever we are feeling down,  we've always got Thomas, Jack, Bailey and Jacob to make us laugh. Rm4 is the best class we've ever been in!"

Persuasive Writing Advertisements!

As part of our Persuasive writing unit, we took a look at advertisements and how they try to persuade consumers to buy their product. The students were given random objects found in the classroom to try and sell to us through their own TV commercial. Here are some of the results... Contributing Schools Visit.

A few Rm4 students were lucky enough to be asked to help out at our Contributing Schools Day. The kids had a great time and complimented our students on helpful they were!
